When our Principal, Geoffrey Thor Desmoulin, Ph.D., R.Kin., P.L.Eng., opened GTD Scientific Inc. in 2009 his goal was simple: Provide the highest quality biomechanical consulting services available.
Since then, we have earned Federal and Supreme Court qualifications along with an extensive local, national and international client list.
With two degrees in Kinesiology and two in Engineering with a sub-specialty in the Science of Violence®, Geoffrey has a unique skill set perfectly suited for understanding human injury from a biomechanical perspective.
A man of many talents, he has previous experience as an international athlete in the sport of biathlon (cross-country skiing and shooting), emergency medical technician, firefighter, karate black belt, and was the former engineering expert on Viacom’s hit TV series, Deadliest Warrior.
Geoffrey draws on his decades of practical, hard-earned experience gained while investigating a wide range of criminal and civil cases, as well as research projects that enabled him and the team at GTD Scientific to further expand their knowledge base.
